If you enjoy Christmas and love drawing, you’ll love these ideas. These Christmas drawings can be used to create your own greeting cards, make a small gift for someone, or simply to enjoy drawing during the Christmas holidays.
Let’s draw and Merry Christmas!
1. Christmas Ornaments
A super easy drawing idea is to create your own tree ornaments. Draw simple shapes: circles, stars, ovals, and then fill them with your favorite Christmas patterns.
2. Christmas Tree
There are many different ways to draw a Christmas tree, and they don’t have to be very complicated. Here are four different ideas, but you can certainly create your own! And don’t forget to decorate the tree!
3. The Three Wise Men
In Spain, gifts are delivered by the Three Wise Men on January 6. They’re a lot of fun to draw because you can imagine different robes and crowns for each of them. A drawing that the little ones at home will love to color.
4. Santa Claus
Although I’m more on Team Three Wise Men, you can’t have Christmas without Santa Claus. Drawn in a cute style, he looks pretty adorable.
5. Gifts
Whether you’re into Santa Claus or the Three Wise Men, Christmas is definitely the time for receiving gifts. A very easy drawing because you just need to draw packages of different sizes and then decorate them with ribbons and patterns.
6. Nativity
Let’s not forget the origin of the celebration. As kids, we drew the nativity scene every Christmas—a lovely tradition to bring back.
7. Christmas Wreath
Just make three or four circular scribbles and add holly, oak, or pine leaves, and berries. You’ll be amazed at how beautiful it looks with minimal effort.
8. Poinsettia
A classic that appears in every home at Christmas: the poinsettia. For this drawing, grab your colored pencils to give the central leaves their characteristic red hue.
9. Cat Tangled in Decorations
I have a cat, and every year it’s a challenge to keep the tree ornaments safe. There’s something about them that cats just can’t resist playing with. This simple drawing is sure to bring a smile to any cat lover’s face.
10. Christmas Sweater
It’s true that Christmas sweaters are often ugly, but they’re fun to draw because you can use many different patterns.
11. Happy New Year Call
Drawing a phone is as easy as making a couple of rectangles. How can we make it a cute drawing? Add a message or call to wish someone a Happy New Year.
12. Christmas Lights
Get inspired by the lights on your street or in your city for this drawing. If the details of the tree and garden are too complicated, know that it looks just as beautiful with only the houses.
13. Polaroids
You all know that polaroids are a recurring theme in my drawings. Framing a super simple drawing within a polaroid gives it an instant charm. If you combine several, you can create a Christmas story.
14. Recipe Book
With more free time during the Christmas holidays, we dedicate ourselves to baking treats, cookies, and cakes. But if cooking isn’t your thing, you can always draw the recipe book.
15. King’s Cake
Christmas isn’t complete without a delicious “Roscón de Reyes” with its hidden surprise or bean.
16. Christmas Candle
Drawing a candle is very simple, and then you can choose to decorate it however you like: Christmas balls, holly leaves, pine leaves, ribbons, etc.
17. Nativity Angel
This isn’t an easy drawing to do from memory; I needed a reference myself. Fortunately, you can find many references in art and nativity figures, and the result is beautiful.
